Ten members from Girls Inc. developed a new skill of rowing, thanks to White Rock Boathouse, Inc. Girls ages 14-16 participated in a one week, three hours a day course. Girls learned the value of commitment to self and others. Members had the chance to take part in a structured rowing program while having fun and learned techniques, mechanics of strokes, speed, strength and endurance.
